Opening a Template and Continuing Work

You open every custom template from your account. The editor loads its last saved state and prepares the tools that correspond to its content.

What you will learn

  • Open a custom design from your account.
  • Recognize that the editor loaded correctly.
  • End work safely with automatic saving.
  • Understand the difference between editing and previewing someone else's template.

How to continue working on a draft template

  1. Log in and open your account page.
  2. Find the card of the desired template. The title, small preview, and card details will help.
  3. Select Open. You can only edit a template that belongs to your account.
  4. Wait for the canvas, top bar, and editor tools to appear (this may take up to 5 seconds). You will see the template name at the top.
  5. Continue editing a row, position, or module. After making a change, monitor the autosave status.

How saving works

The editor does not have a standard "Save" button. After a change, it waits briefly and automatically sends the current design to the server. Additionally, a history point is created for the Undo and Redo functions.

Do not close the tab at the exact moment you finish your last change. Wait until the status in the top bar confirms saving. Autosave is convenient, but it should not be treated as a guarantee for the last millisecond before instantly closing the browser or losing connection.

Someone else's shared template is read-only

You can view another user's design in the gallery. If you want to modify it, first create your own independent copy from it. This protects the original author's work.
